Awaken Church is continuing the legacy of the Bellwood Community Center / Mid-Cities Civic Association.  We intend to continue to serve the surrounding community and our neighbors for generations to come through future programs and providing space for communities to gather.

No Alcohol is permitted on the property.

        All Saturday facility use requires a Full Day Reservation

  • Full Day -$600 Facility Use Fee Plus additional REFUNDABLE $300 Security Deposit.
  • Half Day -$300 Facility Use Fee Plus additional REFUNDABLE $300 Security Deposit.
  • Holiday Full Day – $750 Facility Use Fee Plus additional REFUNDABLE $300 Security Deposit.

Whether you are looking for a place to hold a baby shower, birthday party, wedding reception, family reunion, celebration of life, church or work function our building has been host to it all. 

Our main hall is about 1800 sq. feet and all events include 17  tables & 95 chairs plus a stage area (Tables: 6 – 6 foot round / 8 – 8 foot long / 4 – 6 foot long)

Newly remodel kitchen area includes sink, refrigerator, microwave and ice machine

We accept cash, money orders with no fee.  Credit card, venmo, cash app, zelle- fees apply.  Deposit -must be paid at time of reservation to secure date
All Day -consists of 8am to 11pm
Half Day – 8 hours
